I started carving 2009 - 2010 part time after school every now and then; just finishing the carving for Dad (Ewan) and Wayne.
While in school I always enjoyed Art and Design so the opportunity to work with greenstone was exciting.
Once leaving school at 16 I branched off to try some new things with my life - eg Auto Electrician & Personal Training; but I always came back to carving.
I always enjoyed it once I started carving from a raw block cut out I was hooked.
I love working with greenstone because there are so many opportunities and there is always something new to learn. I feel grateful and privileged to be doing this kind of work and am looking forward to the future to see how much more I can learn.
